Statement of Faith
Effective Date: January 1, 2023
Last Updated: July 6, 2026
Introduction
At Holy Foundation of Blesses Church (HFBC), our faith is firmly rooted in the Holy Bible, which we recognize as the inspired and authoritative Word of God. Our worship, ministry, teaching, and mission are guided by biblical truth and centered on Jesus Christ.
Our Beliefs
1. God
We believe in one eternal, sovereign, and living God, existing eternally in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
2. The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, trustworthy, and authoritative Word of God and serves as the supreme guide for Christian faith and life.
3. Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the forgiveness of humanity’s sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again in glory.
4. The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowers Christian living, provides spiritual gifts, produces spiritual fruit, and guides believers into truth.
5. Salvation
We believe that salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by human works or personal merit.
6. The Church
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers, called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, disciple believers, serve others, and demonstrate God’s love throughout the world.
7. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe that Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances established by Jesus Christ as acts of obedience, remembrance, and public testimony of faith.
8. Christian Living
We believe that every believer is called to live a life marked by holiness, love, integrity, compassion, humility, forgiveness, and faithful service to God and others.
9. The Great Commission
We believe that every Christian has the responsibility to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and make disciples of all nations through evangelism, missions, and compassionate ministry.
10. The Return of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return to fulfill God’s eternal purposes, establish His Kingdom, and bring final judgment and everlasting life to those who belong to Him.
Our Mission
Our mission is to glorify God by leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through biblical teaching, heartfelt worship, prayer, discipleship, compassionate service, and outreach to our communities and the nations.
Our Vision
To build a Christ-centered church that transforms lives, strengthens families, develops faithful disciples, serves communities with compassion, and shares the hope of the Gospel with the world.
Closing Statement
HFBC is committed to faithfully proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, serving people with love, and equipping believers to live according to God’s Word. We strive to honor God in everything we do and welcome all who seek to know Him.
